Having started from humble beginnings, LJ Hooker Warners Bay is now a multi-site real estate business with offices across the Eastern and Western side of Lake Macquarie. With over 30 staff across five offices, LJ Hooker specialises in Residential Sales including Waterfronts and Rural, Commercial, Property Management and Project Marketing.

LJ Hooker Warners Bay, Valentine, Toronto, Rathmines & Wangi Wangi has grown from one site to now five over the last ten years. They chose New Era Technology as their IT service provider to help them streamline their systems across multliple sites..

Challenge 

Being multi-site and working with multiple suppliers for their IT infrastructure, LJ Hooker decided it was time to review their IT services and consolidate and streamline their systems.

One of their main goals was to make their systems more efficient and reliable, as well as looking for cost-savings by consolidating suppliers.

LJ Hooker wanted to be able to operate as one office,
despite being in different locations. So the communication
and how businesses talked to each other needed to be
seamless.

Solution

New Era Technology started work with LJ Hooker in 2017. At the time, LJ Hooker had a need for a dependable computing system supporting their large rent roll and CRM system.

New Era’s solution included a number of hosted servers dedicated to LJ Hooker and integrated with Office 365 for email and office applications.

This also included Cyber and Email protection to mitigate the business risk of data loss.

New Era also delivered SIP phone lines to LJ Hooker’s existing phone system which meant significant cost savings.
LJ Hooker upgraded to the New Era NBN for Business network, which improved the speed of their internet connection.
