Solving Intelligibility Issues with Bose RoomMatch

A sanctuary is a place to come together in fellowship. When congregants are unable to hear the service due to the sound from the audio system not reaching the entire sanctuary, it’s a major problem.

That was the issue that plaguing Ginghamsburg Church. Due to the asymmetrical shape of the space, the sound distribution was less than desirable, despite being equipped with proficient audio gear.

New Era Technology engineering team immediately began to research options and decided that the Bose RoomMatch line-array system offered the best audio coverage. RoomMatch ensured that audio distribution within the sanctuary was the same for everyone, from the front row to the very back of the balcony.

Chris Benge, Technical and Sound Engineer at Ginghamsburg Church, has seen excellent results with the audio installation, a fact that he credits to Live AV’s focused design process and commitment to the church’s requirements for the sanctuary.
